Reform UK won over 1,300 council seats in England ten days ago. Farage called it a revolution. The media called it a surge. Voters called it change.

Here’s what they actually voted for.

One newly elected councillor called for Nigerians to be melted to fill potholes. Another said they wanted Muslims blasted off the face of the earth. Another called Jews a dividing force on our societies. Another described the Nazis as real visionaries.

These are not fringe cases. More than 30 newly elected Reform councillors face allegations of wrongdoing, hateful social media posts and hypocrisy. Most of them have faced zero disciplinary action.

Jay Cooper called the Holocaust a hoax. Ben Rowe shared a post depicting a bomb being dropped on Mecca. Nathaniel Menday shared pictures of swastikas, Hitler’s Mein Kampf and far right iconography. Stephen Mousdell resigned after it emerged he had been appearing in porn videos.

These people are now your local councillors. They make decisions about your children’s schools, your elderly parents’ care homes, your community services.

And Farage knew.

Stuart Prior was accused of creating racist and Islamophobic posts on social media the week before the elections. Reform expelled him after the votes were counted.

They knew. They ran him anyway. They took the seat. Then they cut him loose.

That is not a vetting failure. That is a strategy.

Fill the ballot with warm bodies. Win the seats. Suspend the ones who get caught. Keep the power.

Amanda Clare, charged with assault and criminal damage, is still listed as a Reform councillor and leader of their group on Cheshire West and Chester Council. Still there. Still leading. Still representing you.

This is the anti-establishment party. This is the change you voted for.

The circus didn’t end on Saturday. It got elected.
