Embracing The Chaos
Where can you reduce clutter in your life?

In a world that often preaches the benefits of minimalism, I find solace in the chaos of my vibrant, busy life. As a self-proclaimed “more is more” enthusiast, every nook and cranny of my caravan tells a story – a tale of laughter, spontaneity, and the beautiful messiness of existence.
My house is a symphony of voices, footsteps, and the constant hum of activity – a manifestation of my lively, bustling mind. The idea of silence seems foreign, almost unimaginable, especially as someone navigating the world with a neurodivergent brain that rarely rests.
Take a step into my caravan, and you’ll find a kaleidoscope of colours, courtesy of an abundance of kids’ toys, clothes, and miscellaneous treasures. I’ve never been one for materialism, but my penchant for holding onto every little stone, shell, feather, and yes, at one point, around a million buttons, has turned my space into a curated gallery of memories.
Sure, the minimalist trend suggests decluttering for a clearer mind, but there’s something magical about the organised chaos that surrounds me. It’s a reminder of a life well-lived, of countless adventures, and the joy found in the smallest, seemingly insignificant details.
So, here’s to the million buttons, the shelves adorned with memories, and the vibrant tapestry of my loud, busy life. It might not align with conventional notions of order, but within this chaos, I’ve found my own unique rhythm – a melody of laughter, love, and a touch of unpredictability. After all, life is too short to tidy away every little piece of magic.
