Predator Awareness Protest in Telford Calls for Justice Amid Allegations of Cover-Ups

Heavy Police Presence at Peaceful Demonstration
A peaceful protest took place today in Southwater Square, Telford, led by Predator Awareness, alongside Yorkshire Predator Awareness, The Masked Truth, and Bare Britain Audits. The demonstration aimed to demand justice for over 1,400 children who were victims of systemic child exploitation, which many claim was covered up by authorities for decades.
Despite the non-violent nature of the protest, a large police presence was reported, with attendees questioning why such resources were not used to protect the victims in the past. One protester remarked:
“Enough police to police us today, but where were they when kids were being abused?”

Allegations of Signal Blocking
Several protesters reported issues with phone signals, sparking speculation that signal blockers may have been used to limit live coverage and real-time communication. While this remains unverified, it has raised concerns about potential efforts to suppress awareness of the protest.
Political Figures Accused of Blocking Inquiries
Campaigners have long accused political figures and law enforcement of failing to act on child exploitation cases and even blocking investigations. Among those named in the protest were:
- Keir Starmer, accused of obstructing inquiries.
- London Mayor Sadiq Khan, who allegedly blocked an inquiry into similar abuse cases in London.
- The ‘Telford Ten,’ including MP Shaun Davies, accused of preventing a full-scale investigation into the Telford abuse scandal.
Survivors Speak Out
A significant moment in the demonstration was the playing of pre-recorded testimonies from survivors, allowing victims to share their experiences without fear of retaliation. Some also spoke out in person, further amplifying the call for justice.
Founder’s Speech: “We Will Not Stop”
Tom, the founder of Predator Awareness, addressed the crowd with a powerful speech, declaring:
“We will not stop until every victim has their justice and every perpetrator is locked up.”

The Movement Continues
The demonstration was met with support from the public, with attendees reporting no hostility from the people of Telford. Organisers have confirmed that Predator Awareness will return this summer, and their next protest will take place at BBC Manchester.
With growing public support and increasing pressure on officials, campaigners remain determined to ensure that the voices of survivors are no longer ignored.
