The Hidden Power of the Red Candle: A Journey Beyond the Green

In life, we’re taught to chase after the green, to believe success is an endless climb upwards. But what if the real growth happens in the red, in the moments of resistance and doubt?

We are most vulnerable when our candles are on the rise, glowing green. But when we’re on what feels like a downward spiral—a RED CANDLE—that’s when our true freedoms can be measured. We’re told that bottoming out means weakness, vulnerability. But what if they’re wrong? It’s in the red, when all hope seems lost, that we have the potential for the most profound growth.

Imagine starting with a strong green candle that continuously grows, never dipping into the red. It faces zero resistance, becoming out of reach. You keep waiting for your chance to jump on (you are that red candle), to revel in its glory. But that damn green candle is always just out of reach. So you work harder, chasing the impossible, caught in the web of resistance, fear, manipulation. The doubt, the dream!

Flip the candles on their heads. What we’re really witnessing is a tighter grip of fear and control. The bigger that green candle grows, the more of your true rights and freedoms are stripped away.

Green candles symbolise society’s power shifts.

The resistance is the ladder we climb—it can be measured all the way up and down.

The more I faced my truth, the less my old life fit.

Imagine putting on a few pounds and constantly squeezing into your old size 4 jeans—lumps and fucking bumps everywhere. Eventually, the seams tear, and the button pops off, flying into the abyss, never to be seen again. That poor button, lost in the shadows of your ever-growing waistline.

But you keep trying, every damn day, to fit into those stupid fucking skinny jeans. Clinging to your past, to that slimmer figure, hoping one day they’ll fit again. No work required, just a fucking miracle.

But eventually, reality hits. You realise that missing waistline was pointless because now you’ve gained even more pounds, and nothing—absolutely nothing—fits anymore.

You’re naked, bare, forced to confront the truth: nothing is going to magically get FIXED. You have to do the work to change that. So, you dig deep, work so damn hard that, in the end, you barely recognise the person in the mirror.

But even then, those clothes that once fit, then didn’t, still… don’t.

That’s how I feel. Like an outsider, always on the line, watching but never really part of the game. And you know what? I don’t fucking mind at all. I see and feel what most don’t. I am conscious.

But what I do crave is connection—connection with others who tread this path of consciousness, those who know. Those who understand the depths from which I speak. Oh, how I crave that so hard!

I’m stuck in a cycle: I know what needs to change, but those bastard green candles keep dragging me back into the old ways, the resistance band, the comfort zone of familiarity. I need to cross paths with those also in the red, the wandering souls.

Fear and manipulation are at the top. True value and freedoms are measured in the red.

Red candles—that’s the true resistance, where you could bottom out but have the resilience within (consciousness) to reach new heights at the top—the green.
