University Dreams over?

Dear readers of Life Unscripted, I hope this post finds you well.
Today, I’m reaching out with a vulnerable heart and an urgent plea for support. My journey into university began last year, a significant step after 15 years away from academic pursuits.
Unfortunately, I ventured into it blind, without the necessary support or understanding of what lay ahead.
I initially chose Criminology and Psychology, but as time unfolded, I realised that Psychology wasn’t the right fit for me. After much introspection, I’ve made the decision to switch to Social Sciences alongside Criminology—a choice that aligns better with my passion and goals.
Now, here comes the hurdle. Having already received funding for Psychology, the shift has left me £400 short in covering my entire course. A gap that, unfortunately, needs to be filled by next week.
I’ve exhausted every avenue available to me, and I find myself at a crossroads. The thought of relinquishing my university dreams after making it this far is devastating. It’s a journey that has taken all I have, especially considering my neurodivergent nature.
I refuse to give up. I refuse to let go of this dream that means so much to me. This is where I need your help, dear followers. I hate to ask, but I’ve set up a donation link here – https://www.paypal.me/sophie256 for anyone willing to contribute. Every pound brings me closer to securing my educational path and achieving my aspirations.
Your support means the world to me. I know times are tough, but your kindness can make a significant impact on my journey.
If you can’t contribute financially, sharing this post within your circles can be just as powerful.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Your support, whether through donations or shares, is a lifeline for me.
With gratitude, Lucie.. x
