What’s Your Dream Job?
What’s your dream job?

Looking back on my journey to find the dream job, it’s been quite a mix of interests and experiences. Back in school, I ended up considering plumbing, not because it was a true passion, but more of trying to fit into societal expectations. However that soon changed when school was over.
Right after school, I tried different mainstream jobs, but each left me feeling unfulfilled. The traditional career path just didn’t resonate with me, leading to the realisation that it might not be my true calling. And you know what? That’s perfectly okay.
A few years ago, I made a conscious decision to live life on my own terms. Now, I’m studying criminology and social sciences at university, dropping psychology because it felt too monotonous. It might not lead to a typical career, but it aligns with my fascination for society.
I’m also knee-deep in renovating houses, with plans to dive into property development. Designing homes has become more than a hobby—it’s a deep love.
Lately, I’ve found myself drawn to journalism for its exploration of society and people. It’s not a rigid career choice but a chapter in my broader life story.
My interests change, and that’s fine. I believe staying in a joyless job is unnecessary. It’s crucial to pave your own way and embrace the evolving journey of self-discovery. 😊
