The Proof That Shadowborn Works: Sian’s Complete Journey
✍🏻 Sophie Lewis| Shadowborn Founder

I need to tell you about Sian.

Not because her story is mine to tell, but because she gave me permission to share what happened when someone actually walked the full 12-week Shadowborn path. When theory became lived experience. When I watched, in real-time, a human soul transform.
I created Shadowborn from my own fire. From the nights I met my fragments, from the psychedelic ceremonies where I encountered Lucie, from the moment I stood in front of a mirror during ego death and saw the addict version of myself staring back.
But creating a framework and watching someone else walk through it? That’s different.
That’s when you find out if it actually works.
The Journey: 12 Weeks of Alchemy
Weeks 1-2: The Descent
Sian began where we all begin, standing at the edge of her own darkness, knowing something had to change but not yet knowing what that change would cost.
She walked into Week 1: The Door Closes Behind You. No turning back. The call to face what she’d been avoiding.
Week 2: The Descent Continues. Meeting the Gatekeeper. Feeling the weight of everything she’d been carrying. The silence after the noise. The grief before the breakthrough.
Weeks 3-4: Confrontation & Integration
Week 3: Confrontation. Meeting her fragments, the abandoned parts, the wounded selves, the versions she’d disowned to survive.
Week 4: The Merging. Learning to walk as one person instead of scattered pieces performing different roles for different people.
Weeks 5-8: Pattern Breaking & Freedom
Week 5: The Pattern Breaks. Disrupting the loops that had been running her life on autopilot.
Week 6: The Resistance. Holding the line when everything in her wanted to go back to the familiar hell.
Week 7: The Bloodline Breaks. Becoming the chain breaker. Ending patterns that had run through her family for generations.
Week 8: Walking Free. Learning to live in peace instead of chaos, to find aliveness in stillness instead of storm.
Weeks 9-10: Energy & Boundaries
Week 9: The Company You Keep. Choosing consciously who gets access to her energy.
Week 10: The Breaking Point. Drawing the line. Saying enough with her whole soul.
Week 11: The Monster
And then came Week 11.
Meeting the Monster Within.
Week 11: When The Universe Sent Her Mirror
Here’s where it gets wild.
Sian had been doing the work. Week by week, ritual by ritual, showing up. Peeling back layers. Getting stronger. Setting boundaries she’d never set before.
And then, right at Week 11, the week designed to make you face your capacity for harm, your predatory edges, your power that could destroy if used unconsciously, the universe sent her a test.
A man. Let’s call him The Mirror.
He drank every day. He was emotionally unavailable. He was everything she’d spent a year healing from, her own addiction, her own patterns, wrapped up in someone else’s body and delivered precisely when she needed to see her monster most clearly.
The Breakthrough That Changed Everything
Sian set a boundary. Clean. Clear. No attachment.
“I don’t want to be with someone who drinks every day. I’ve worked too hard on myself to allow anyone to ruin it.”
She felt… nothing. No guilt. No second-guessing. Just clarity.
And that’s when her monster revealed itself.
She wrote to me:
“I felt no way saying this. I felt empowered… but I hated every minute. I hate hurting people, Sophie, in any way. Help me see my monster if you can, hun. Cause I’m at a loss.”
There it was.
Not the addiction. Not the unavailable men. Not even the patterns themselves.
Her monster was the fear that if she chose herself, if she held boundaries, if she was “too much”, she’d be abandoned.
The monster was the belief that love only comes when you accommodate, when you shrink, when you put everyone else first.
The monster was the terror of being alone.
What I Told Her
“Your monster is your addiction to external validation. You long for love, but not from the right place. You need to fully and wholly accept who you are before that reveals itself.
You felt nothing setting that boundary because your soul knew he wasn’t it. That clarity, that numbness, that was your soul protecting what you’ve built.
The monster lives in what came after. You said, ‘I hated every minute. I hate hurting people.’ That guilt. That fear that if you’re boundaried, if you’re too much, you’ll be abandoned.
The addiction was the symptom. The monster is deeper, the fear you’re not enough on your own. The desperate need for external validation through love.
That’s the pattern that needs to die.”
Her Response
“Thank you. Wow. I am in awe of you. OMG I’m sobbing my heart out, but it’s emotion I definitely feel needs releasing.
I am proud of myself, Sophie. And I know I’m growing into the person I’m meant to be. I’m learning every step of this Shadowborn journey and the universe is sending everything I need to see it all. How amazing is that?
Thank you so much. I can’t tell you how much this has helped me.”
Minutes later:
“OMG I see it. I’m bawling again. Thank you for helping me see this is crazy. Like I’m truly mind blown. WTF Soph, this is proper mad.”
“This is scary and exciting and exhausting and so many emotions. But it’s positive and YOU did this, Sophie. You, your fucking amazing Shadowborn has blown my mind each week, but this week OMG OMG OMG.”
“Shadowborn really, really works. It’s fucking amazing. I’m so proud of you.”
Week 12: Sovereignty
But she didn’t stop at Week 11.
She kept going.
Week 12: Shadow Sovereignty. Standing unshakeable in her fire. Creating her crown. Burning her ritual box. Claiming herself as the sovereign authority of her own life.
Sian completed the full cycle. The entire alchemical transformation from fragmentation to wholeness, from unconscious patterns to conscious choice, from external validation to self-sovereignty.
She is the first person to walk the complete Shadowborn path.
And she emerged fundamentally transformed.
What This Means
I didn’t just create a course. I created a living transformation technology that works.
Not theory. Not spiritual bypassing. Not surface-level healing.
Actual, documented, timestamped psychological reconstruction.
Sian’s journey proves:
- The 12-week structure creates natural transformation windows
- Real-life mirrors appear precisely when you’re ready to face specific shadows
- Pattern recognition can identify core wounds before the person consciously sees them
- Integration happens when you meet your monster with compassion instead of shame
- Sovereignty is the lived result of owning your full capacity
My Doubt & Her Proof

I want to be honest with you.
I doubted myself. Hard.
I thought, “Who am I to guide people through their darkness? What if this doesn’t work? What if I’m not enough?”
But watching Sian break through, watching her sob and release and see herself clearly for the first time, I realised something:
Shadowborn isn’t mine anymore. It belongs to the people brave enough to do the work.
And Sian? She’s proof it works.
If You’re Reading This
If you’ve been watching Shadowborn from the sidelines, wondering if it’s real, wondering if shadow work actually transforms lives…
This is your answer.
Sian gave me permission to share her journey because she knows someone out there needs to hear this:
Your monster isn’t your enemy. It’s your teacher.
And facing it? That’s when you become free.
Sian completed all 12 weeks. Every ritual. Every practice. Every confrontation. Every integration.
She walked through fire and did not burn.
She is the proof that Shadowborn works.
And she won’t be the last.

Love & Light.. Sophie!
